I got these pans 4 months ago and absolutely LOVE them!
I did oatmeal brownies in the broiler/cake pan. Halving the recipe I had was perfect to fit the pan.
I have been doing mini pizzas on the round pizza pans. Pinching up the dough edges is all that is needed to hold the toppings. I prebake the home made crusts then put on the toppings and slide the pie back onto the rack for perfectly crispy little mini meal pizzas.
Broiling.. can't beat it. I like to buy chicken thighs and legs on sale and bone them. I can put two boned thighs or four boned legs on the broiler rack and they come out perfect. Steaks, chops and burgers have also come out just perfect.
Clean up... after broiling just toss them in a sink of hot soapy water and use a wash cloth to avoid scratching.
For baking I do use a bit of shortening to grease the pans.. brownies lifted right out after cutting with a plastic knife (to avoid scratching), pizzas slide right off the pans. Wash up.. hot soapy water and a wash cloth.. the pizza pans have each done a dozen pizzas and still look brand new!
I'd actually love to get more of the pizza pans so that I can do larger batches of mini pizzas. Get them half baked and then freeze.. Its great to be able to grab a mini pizza and just slide it into the toaster oven for a fresh home made pizza.
I am also pleased with the weight of the pans, nice even heat distribution.

Great find! - afinocch -These pans are awesome! I save so much time because I can use my toaster over instead of my normal oven for a lot of things now. The broiling pan is great for steaks too. After searing on both sides, I throw it on the broiling set and pop it in the big oven, and the mess is easier to clean up on such a small pan. Go through the dishwasher nicely too. I was glad I stumbled across these!

For the price I paid - 20 dollars, it is a winner. It could toast more evenly, and they ought to eliminate the "always on" button - but aside from the hazard of the possibility of burning the house done, this thing gets the job done. Whether it warms up a slice of pizza or makes the cheese in a stuffed date ooze with joy, it is reliable. If you can though, don't get this in white. It will be streaky and weird after many uses.

get what you pay for - Randy S - columbia, mdaTotally agree with the first review here. With only one heating element on the top and bottom, it's really impossible to get things toasted evenly. Things come out with a toasted line right above/below the element, and the rest is untoasted. Or if you leave it in longer, you get toasted on the edges and burned in the middle. Would much rather spend twice the money to get something that toasts better.

I have had this product about 1 month and I am throwing it out and trying a different brand. The product is poorly constructed -- door does not open and close smoothly. Exterior paint has chips and discolorations. The design of the controls is terrible.

After our most recent move, we needed to replace our toaster oven yet again. What I was really hoping to find was something like the original Black and Decker one we had several years ago, but they don't seem to make them like they did once upon a time. Apparently, cheap, good toaster ovens aren't made by manufacturers anymore. The more recent Black and Decker we had owned was awful, so I can't say I was unhappy it didn't make the move with us. And I certainly wasn't going to buy it again!
I spent awhile looking over toaster oven reviews, which pretty much just reinforced my idea that there are no longer any below - that get mostly good reviews. And some of the horror stories made me want to stay far, far away from some of those toaster ovens! So I decided I'd look at something that cost more, not necessarily wanting to pay more, but wanting a toaster oven that toasted and baked well again. And I have to say, this one has lived up to the good reviews!
This is the best toaster oven I have owned since our old Black and Decker one. It toasts really well, it bakes really well, and I like the fact that I can toast six things at once in it. With four kids in the house, that's really useful. It is (obviously) larger than the old Black and Decker one, but I'm okay with that given how well it works. However, the large size of this could be an issue for some. I also like the buttons for setting it on it - it makes for more precise toasting and temperature.
The main issue I have with it, though this wasn't really enough for me to want to take a star away, was that there's a metal piece underneath the handle that can get *really* hot at times, and you have to be careful not to touch it when opening it. It's really not too hard to avoid doing so, but it is something that's worth mentioning as I almost burned myself on it once. The timer is also a bit loud, but this isn't really a major issue for me. I could see it being one for someone whose kitchen is really close to the bedrooms in their house, though.
All in all, I would most definitely recommend this toaster oven. I could wish it was cheaper, but it's worth paying the extra money for. With this one, I shouldn't have to replace my toaster oven for quite awhile!

The controls are largely obvious and easy to use. The one exception is that the membrane buttons used to raise or lower the temperature when used as an oven aren't at all easy to use, and the instruction book is of little help. Otherwise, this seems to be a durable and attractive product.

This toaster oven gives us good toast, still not as good as a separate toaster but much better than we got with previous brands. The price was okay but the one big problem is that the crumb drawer must be removed from the back for cleaning. It would have been great to have front access so we don't have to disconnect it and move it around to clean up the droppings. It looks good with the stainless finish and I have had good comments from others about the way it blends with the other appliances.

When our 30 year old toaster oven died, we started reading industry and consumer reviews of toaster ovens and decided on this model. We've had it about a month and so far it toasts bread and bagels perfectly, and has baked a 12" pizza as well as fish fillets in less time than required in our stove oven. The baking pan is very easy to clean and removing the crumb tray is far more convenient than it was with our old model. We haven't tried the broiler function yet. Our only complaint so far is that the manual isn't very helpful with directions. We've figured out how to perform the different operations but it would have been nice to have had the steps clearly listed.

Perfectly happy with the size and the look. I bought it primarily for toast and reheating pizza. I works fine. However I'm not happy with the controls. There a bit sloppy, requiring an extra effort to set the toast function, which has to be set each time the unit is turned on.

The DeLonghi Toaster Over is a piece of junk. I have a cheapie toaster oven right now. It is getting old and beat up so I decided to buy another one. I am limited as to overhead space. This is one reason why I decided on the DeLonghi. It is only around eight inches high and had a good rating. But, it is not user friendly. On my old toaster oven, when the door is opened the shelf is pulled out for easy access to the shelf itself, to pull it farther out if desired, and to the items cooking in the oven. The DeLonghi does not have this feature so I have burned my hands on several occasions trying to get the toast out of the oven. Plus, there is no way to turn the oven off if I make a wrong choice as to how long the bread is suppose to toast. In this situation I have to reach into the oven, with the burner going at full blast, to retrieve my bread so it will not over cook. And finally, if I desire to cook something for an extended period, I cannot easily do so. There is no way to turn the oven on an leave it on. So, if I want to cook something that takes longer than toast to cook, every few minutes I have to reset the timer. As I said, the DeLonghi is a piece of junk. I wish I had never bought it. Retuning it is such a hassle I have decided to put it in storage and to continue using my older toaster oven. To summarize, it is a piece of crap and I wish the law would allow me to beat the designer over the head with it. Signed, Norman Felts
3 Strikes - this Toaster Oven is OUT! - Tamar Brooks - Los Angeles, CA USA
I really, really wanted this toaster oven. It was the perfect size and design and Amazon had it at a great price. I wanted modern looking Stainless Steel but not digital operation. Thought this was my answer. Well the first one they sent me shorted out my kitchen GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) plug. Every time I turned it on, it turned the electricity off. Moved it around to different plugs and the same thing happened.
So I sent it back and asked for a replacement. Amazon was happy to accommodate me. But the second one I received would not toast two cycles in a row. The first pair of bread slices would toast, but when I tried to follow up with a second pair of slices, it would never get hot enough to toast the bread. The bars would not even get read. So I ended up with hot, very hard bread that never browned or toasted.
So I sent the second one back and asked for a 3rd replacement. Again, Amazon was willing to give it another chance. But then the third toaster did the same thing the first toaster did. It shorted out every plug I tried in my kitchen making me re-set the GFI plugs. I thought perhaps they had sent me back the same toaster I had returned the first time. But I don't think so because of the way I know that I had packed up the warranty information papers. This seemed to be packed in the original manner that was done by the factory and not the way I had stuffed the papers into the toaster oven. So I sent it back again.
SAVE YOUR MONEY and FIND a DIFFERENT TOASTER OVEN! And if you find a good one, please review it on Amazon as I still have not found a decent toaster oven for my new kitchen.

I LOVE this thing -- YES, even the beeps! After all the mixed reviews here, I almost didn't buy this. Reviews are helpful and I use them for advice all the time, but this is yet another testament to trusting one's own instincts over someone else's opinions.
First off, you will NOT find a better toaster oven for the money. I got mine for . The next closest in price with a digital temp display was just under 0. And for me, getting a toaster oven without a digital readout was pointless. I didn't want to use one of those manual dials where you have to guesstimate the time and temps. I want to know that 350 @ 2 minutes is exactly that, and not just loose parameters.
This DeLonghi does NOT burn my toast. I use the T6 setting with the rack on the middle setting. Grilled cheese comes out perfectly, as does toast. I've also cooked breakfast burritos, taquitos, ham & cheese sandwiches and small frozen dinners all with great success and ease. And the food tastes great! This thing is wonderful!
Yes, this does beep when it's finished cooking, but I like the beeps. It's not overly loud, yet can easily be heard even if I'm in the next room. It's hardly like those annoying alarm clocks or anything of the like. Truth is, I don't see how they could have made this any better. You'd be a fool to pass this up for a more expensive digital model, or a less efficient manual knob model. Those knob ones remind me of those old-fashioned (and useless) egg timers -- it's virtually impossible to get accurate time with those.
Bottom Line -- DeLonghi has made a superior product here, and at an affordable price. I would definitely buy this again and recommend to others. It's hard to beat and you won't find anything this good at the price. No need to spend hundreds when this one is perfect as is! Very happy with this purchase.

Good But Not Durable - Joana -I've had this oven for less than two years. I liked it a lot at first - controls are not the most intuitive, but it did the job. Right around the time it was turning one year old, the display broke. As the product was still under warranty, customer support sent me a new one (not before they asked me for a piece of the power cord as proof what I had was unusable). What I thought was just bad luck turned out to be a real quality issue - a few weeks ago, the display of my replacement model broke again... and soon after the entire oven ceased to work. This time around my warranty is over, and I'm online shopping for a different brand!

The DeLongi DO400 toaster oven is not a bargain at any price. It is light weight, tinny, gets unbelievably hot, and burns toast at any setting. Mine went to recycling as it was not the worth the cost and hassle of returning it. I won't be buying any more DeLongi products.

I just bought this toaster oven at a local department store after my black & decker one died. The black & decker
was never a good product - but it is hard to find a well made toaster oven. I purchased and tried a Cuisinart - was too large and did not work well. It was plus.
I was ready to go the traditional toaster route, when I came across the DeLonghi. I like the smaller size and it is very easy to use and clean. Many of the cheaper toasters only have one toasting bar across the top and bottom, resulting in an inferior toast. Also,it is very easy to open the bottom to clean out crumbs etc. Everyone in the family likes this product so much we are going to buy another one at Amazon and keep it for my son's apartment next year!

I bought this toaster from another vendor, but it is just as bad as the other reviews claim it is. The wires at the bottom do not keep most foods from getting stuck when the toaster pops - about 2 times out of 3 I have to fish some or all of the breakfast food out of it. The left side slots heat, but do not stay down (the catch has quit working), so only half of the slots are now safe to use. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere - this toaster is a piece of dung...

The description for the toaster said it had deep slots for bread. I use a bread machine to make bread and wanted a toaster that would toast the entire piece of bread and not have to reverse the bread and start over again. The toaster works well with store bread but not with bread made in a bread machine. The delivery from any products ordered from Amazon have always arrived promptly and earlier than promised.

Toasts superfast, looks super spiffy on the counter. Plenty wide for bages, etc.... Doest NOT have the little "clamps" that hold up soft breads, but not a big deal to me and it was waaaay cheaper than anything comparable.

Don't be tempted by the price. This is an OK toaster at best. Using one side works as an average single toaster, but using two sides just doubles the toasting time. The heating elements in mine are no longer lighting up fully after only one year. No crumb tray - just take it outside and shake it upside down. It's sad that this had to be built and packed in China, shipped all the way here, then become pretty much useless after one year. My previous toaster - now being used again - has lasted for over 40 years...

This is a great little oven. So far I've just used it for heating left-overs, but it does a much better job than microwaving. The food comes out just the same as it tasted originally.

I have already left a very favorable review for this item. Just FYI...the crumb tray pulls out from under the glass door. If you pull it all the way out, you don't have to turn the appliance upside down. This is a GREAT product, especially for the price. We own 3 of them! One at home, one at Grandma's and one in the RV.

Wish there were was a 0 star option - Karen -Bought this toaster specifically because it had hooks to slide the tray in and out (our last toaster had them but they didn't work very well and these seemed better). Got home, opened the box, there are no hooks. So I called customer service and she said "return it to the store, we made a mistake". She said they did not give coupons or gift cards to make up for the error, there was nothing she could do. She was not particularly sympathetic or helpful. When I looked online, it turns out black and decker sold their small appliances to this other company who is clearly very incompetent. I used to really like black and decker but I will not be buying from them ever again.

I bought this at a big box store thankfully because the 2nd one is going back today. The first one had a broken handle right out of the box. I exchanged it. Now the door flops open and almost broke my plate. The picture on the box and the instructions show hooks that attach to the rack to help it slid out, which I was thinking would slow down the door. My old B&D had a spring loaded door so it didn't flop open.
I called Customer Care. The guy was REALLY nice but said that the redesigned model didn't have the hooks but they were still selling it in the old box with the old instructions. Swell! I don't like the 3 dials. I'd rather have a permanent "toast" setting. I do like the idea of a timer so I don't leave it on bake for days but I don't trust this model particularly based on the other reviews. This one's going back to the store.

I have always considered Black & Decker to be a solid, reputable brand. However this toaster oven makes me think twice. Out of the box, it worked for a little while though not ideally. The bread would toast more on the outside edge and less in the middle of the oven. This meant we had to rotate the toast part way through to get it even. We decided to put up with this because, well... the oven was cheap. We got it on sale for half off.
However after a few months of daily use the elements started to degrade. The heating elements don't provide even heat/radiation. You can visibly see that the left side of the element is darker than the right side. Also the top of the bread toasts a lot more than the bottom. Now we have to babysit the toast the entire time and rotate/flip it repeatedly.
You get what you pay for I guess.
